About Your Tour Leaders: Rabbi Eitan and Dawn Weiner-Kaplow
Rabbi Eitan Weiner-Kaplow is the spiritual leader of Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Synagogue in Northbrook, Illinois. He received a B.A. in Old World Archaeology, holds a Masters in Social Work and was ordained at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 1988. He is one of the founders of Camp JRF, the Reconstructionist summer camp. Rabbi Weiner-Kaplow specializes in Jewish history and Israeli archaeology and works closely with our Israeli tour guide to deepen your experience in the Holy Land. He brings his love of hiking, nature, singing and playing his guitar to every tour he leads.

Dawn Weiner-Kaplow is a speech-language pathologist in the Northbrook, Illinois public schools. She is a fluent Hebrew speaker and is an Israel folk dancer. Dawn specializes in logistics, planning, communications and behind-the-scene details of Israel travel.

Together Rabbi Eitan and Dawn have lived and studied in Israel for many years and enjoy leading tour groups in Jerusalem and throughout the whole land of Israel.
